According to Warren Buffet, the best investments are in stocks of quality companies that have become bargains.

CD accounts are the safest and best without a risk. Forex and the value of countries money is the worst idea since how to be a millionaire in as seen on TV to me. Forex is a new known company, but no one has been so interested in that trading for the decades since. Gold is in the stock market, GoldCorp. This sells and trades as to the up and down of gold does. Forex is for trading and it's not a good investment to invest in say GoldCorp only. If you have a lot of money you can find higher yield Cd's and some offshore banks, but offshore banks are more risky as you could loose money without insurance.

Definatly gold. It is going up really fast right now. GOLD has gone up 63% since january. You will not find that in CDs.

the trick is to define "best". safest?? then CD… goes up when lots of others go down?? then Gold.. goes up over longer period of time?? then Mutual Funds
Forex is NOT an investment, it is Trading and is very Volatile… If you really don't care whether your lose the money or not, and you want really fast gains if it works, then try forex… but if you'd really prefer to keep your money, use the other actual Investments… and, if you have enough to do it… don't forget that Real Estate can be a great long term investment!
