Discussion of Forex Trading and Currency Trading

can't find forex live classes that aren't scams?

I want to start taking forex classes at a school or a college but every class I find it is just seminars where they show u boats and houses and they say that could be u if u sign up for our strategy.

I just want to learn the basics when i watch these youtube videos of forex it's as if they're speaking german, I cant understand anything let alone trade on a demo account. why is there a thousand courses on stocks and banking but I can't even find one in all of Toronto on forex? what should I do?

ALL those are scams. If you want to get into FX trading.
    1) Get a degreein Finance
    2) Get a research job at a brokerage
    3) Working into a trainee positon on the fx floor.

Good luck. trading FX is a very specialized field.

The average person cannot do it.

  2. The vast majority of people who buy a diversified portfolio of stocks make money over time. On the other hand, most people who trade Forex lose money. Do a web search on "Forex" and "lose" and you will see that most people admit that most people lose money. The only question is whether 90% do or 99% do. Learning to do Forex well is extremely hard, probably harder than becoming a professional poker player.

Any Forex course that told you the truth about how difficult it is would get no customers. Only the scam courses can get customers.

  3. Get some books. Try the demo account offered by all the Forex dealers on their platform and good luck.

The reason so many people lose money is that they don't want to do their homework. People I know who make money trading view it as a job.

By the way, ignore the first post. The guy knows so little that he doesn't even know that there is no central exchange and thus no trading floor.

  4. try the school of hard knocks.

  5. Forget classes.

Learn the "50% retracement rule." it's all you need. Google for it.
