Who says its devaluing ? Maybe it's major trading partners currencies have actually strengthened. It hasn't devalued against the Zimbabwe dollar for instance.!!

Well - we're the largest debtor nation in the western world and if we weren't borrowing from foreign investors to pay, only, the interest on our national debt, the dollar would be stronger against other currencies. China has hundreds of millions in US Treasury Bonds - consider the possibilities ….

Any curency can devaluate and will devaluate if the financial policy of the country is not wise. American dollar is not an idol concerning stability and value.
