why do the europian countries still use their old currencies? isnt the euro enough?

Why does Canada accept US currency when even Canadian pennies are refused in the States?

Some European countries, such as England and Switzerland, have kept their own currencies because their economies are so good that using the Euro and melding their respective economies with the EU one will bring theirs down.

old currencies are not used: italians do not use liras, spanish do not use pesos, german do not use deutche marks and french don;t pay in franks they all use euro. But along with euro british pound and switz frank stayed as currencies because their countries find it better for themselves.
