The pula is the currency of Botswana.

Being a desert country Botswana's currency has an extremely suitable name:
Pula means RAIN ind setswana. One pula is divided into 100 Thebe which means RAINDROPS.
In a desert country water is gold, and rain is water. It all makes sense to me. :o)
