i'm going to england over the summer and would like to know how much money to bring.
also regardless of the exchange rate are things in england "cheaper" than things in the US?
like a shirt in america costs $10, but in england it would cost $5
I'm taking world history at my high school, English is one of my ethnicities, and I'm going to England for a few days just to go shopping and sight seeing before I go to Ireland.
So I'm pretty aware of England's culture and pretty sure that I want to go there.

as of now, 1.60 and it's killing me! Luckily I just got a job in euros lol
Wait you're going to England? They don't use the euro there, they have the British pound, you don't know much about England right? Also London is the most expensive city in the world I doubt you would find cheaper stuff there.
I think you should learn more about the country before you decide to do there.
