According to http://www.xe.com - there does not seem to be a stronger currency to the GBP.

I think the Kuwaiti Dinar is the strongest currency in the world.
1 GBP = 0.52 Kuwaiti dinar

BHD Bahraini Dinar (0.742)
KD Kuwaiti Dinar (0.52)
