What notes are allowed to be exchanged in England: English obviously, Scottish……. any more and please explain why they are or not allowed
Given the way the dollar has been, our country has been, our economy has been, it seems that keeping one's saving in dollar format is stupid.
It might make more sense to put one's saving, in part in the currency of anothe country which is running itself better.
How can this best be done.
Open to any suggestions. I don't really favor buying gold per se. Could one purchase equities that might do this?
Any thoughts appreciated or sites for research.

I'm not a expert in economy but, a Chinese get paid 100 yuan daily and a American get paid 100 dollars daily, they are different! But they are almost doing the same kind of job. What I wanted to ask was that.
Looking for a community-generated website (for example a wiki) dedicated to world coin and banknote collecting that has thorough info on coins and notes.
For example one issue I have with banknoteworld.com is that while they have a good set of scanned bills, they don't include a lot of detailed info — like watermark, ultraviolet, other security features, description of bill. Meanwhile banknotes.com has some of this info but is not nearly exhaustive. Any site — say a numismatic or notaphilic wiki — that does better than these?
