Not any time soon because China relies on the strong western currencies to purchase its goods (since it has no use for them itself). Therefore, if its currency increased in value, people would not buy its goods, and it would no longer be able to generate the money needed to invest in industry, which would cause its industrial boom to come to an end. Thats why they like a 'weak' currency.
