IMHO, if you are an aspiring currency or forex (foreign exchange) trader, you would have to learn the basics of currency trading - fundamental and technical analysis.
If you are an investor or an aspiring investor, the best move is to put your money in funds managed by professional fund managers - such as mutual funds, commodity funds, etc.
If your instinct tells you to invest in asian equities (stocks) or currencies, search for funds that manage those areas. Then evaluate those funds and their managers, and sort out the best ones before putting any money on the line.

if you want to lose your money fast speculate in currencies. you don't sound as though you have enough knowledge about the situation.
There are exchange rates to think of and the dollar is weak at the present time, which means you will get less yen for the $. Know what you are doing before you invest. Do your homework first. there are safer places to put your money like the bank.
