I just started playing with forex today, so it is likely I'm using flawed logic or don't understand it properly.
However, it seems to me that if you use a chart to track to fluctuations in currencies by the minute it is easy to pick up on trends and make money off of them that way?
Further, it seems like the currencies all fluctuate around a certain range (i.e. EU/USD around 1.5750 - 1.5725) couldn't you just buy on the low end of the spectrum (say 1.5728) and wait for it to go up to say 1.5735 (which it seems it will inevitably do) and sell? If you use leveraging couldn't you make a fair amount of money that way?
Thanks
Yeah, I'm just using a practise account.

My mom went to the bank to get me some AUD before I go to Australia. They charged her $490-something USD for $475 AUD. Unless I'm horribly mistaken, I'm pretty sure $475 AUD should only be around $450-something USD. The rate fluctuates around the 1 USD=1.04 AUD mark, judging by www.xe.com.
How do I go about forcing the bank's hand on this? They stand by their original calculations. What should I do to get back the money they basically stole from me?
Their fee was only $5.

For instance: 200:1 would this mean I pay say 300 dollars in good faith to play with 3,000? Let's say that 3,000 makes money wouldn't I just have to pay the money back anyway? Therefor left with a 1:1 ratio? I know it seems like a stupid question but I'm very new to investing and trading and I don't see any value in leveraging can anyone help me to see the gold behind this strategy?
Does anyone use FXCM trading station II? I used that for my practice account, are there better ones out there

Is it better to be high momentum and high volatility or high momentum low volatility to keep up on daily currency levels that change ? I am not into trading per se but am interested in learning it . Serious inquiries only and knowledgeable enquiries only . I am trying to learn and not wasting time. Keep web sites to a minimum unless it explains completely these 2 questions.

I have this $50 bill and I was wondering if it is real currency. The bill has printed on the left side of grants portrait
"THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF CHICAGO ILLINOIS"
series of 1928
It has the signature of the governor, asst. deputy governor, the register of the tresury (E. E. Jones) and the treasurer of the united states (Woods).
The bill also has the little colored threads throughout the bill, but it of course did not pass the counterfit pen mark becasue it predates that ink. I shal try to attach the photos ive taken.
oops it is a1929 not sure why i typed that wrong

Please clear my doubt about leverage :
I choose 1:100 on 10,000 capital on price will go up
Now i control here 1,000,000 ok
If the price go up, will i make 1,000,000 ???
I know its a very silly doubt but please clear it
Thanks
