How can I collect? I just want to collect current ones? I don’t really want to pay to much for it, no more than face value in US dollars. eBay is not good for me.

If you want to collect U.S. currency just take it out of circulation. Buying a book on the subject will help in knowing what is rare or scare in new notes. If you want to collect world notes they are inexpensive at least the modern common ones. get a copy of Numismatic News or Coin World- weekly coin magazines, from a coin dealer and check their ads. There are ads for 25 notes for $3.75 as well as other deals. You will still not get something for nothing. Most notes are no longer legal tender and are worthless when it comes to spending them in the country that issued them. They are colorful and interesting though.
