I’m not religious at all, but what do I care if God’s on my currency? It’s such a stupid thing to worry about!

Technically, yes. Because there is supposed to be a separation of Religion and State. But what do I do with all these singles…lol

i’m agnostic.
it doesn’t bother me.
i just think of religion and the term “god” as just that - a term or word, that i’m just not associated with. but it doesn’t bother me. its like its not even there

NO this is what our nation was founded on. If we are trying to have respect for other religions why cant they have respect for how the morals of our nation were founded over 200 years ago!

I don’t think so. Better leave it the way it is. Other answers here have expressed my thoughts.

Absolutely NOT!!! The Lord God is the most powerful person and the most honest. His is the ONLY one who’s deserves to be on our currency!!!!

No. Despite its religious overtones, the phrase emphasizes more of our faith in the nation than a higher power. Since the dollar is not tied to gold or silver and is only worth the amount printed on it because we say so. The faith that the government will always honor the currency makes the statement worthwhile.
