Trade them for gold (in Belize, perhaps?) and sell the gold.
I’m not sure they are legitimate, but I’m just being cautious.

Quoting directly from the Standard Catalog of World Banknotes, Modern Issues, 13th Edition (2008):
The Central Bank of Belize will no longer exchange these notes for regular currency. (It is illegal to export the currency afterward). Value is thus speculative.
The catalog lists the set of 36 gold notes at $325. You might get half of that at a coin dealer or on eBay.
