I mean, other big nations gold to base their currency. How do we create money then? It must be with debt if we dont have fund to back up the dollar.

It is worth money than the paper it is printed on so why would the governmen not allow it. I realize it may be government property, but why is it government property in the first place if you worked to get it. When I go down to the local market and buy a lamp, they may have made it, but because I labored to buy it, it now becomes mine and i can do what I want with it, what is the differnce?

I have a spreadsheet that is in US$ and want to change it to CA$. I vaguely recall an online currency converter where you could cut & paste a list of values and it would convert the entire list at once however, I can’t find it. If there’s a program someone knows of that does this, I’m willing to try that too. I’ve looked all over (download.com etc) but have had no luck
what exactly is a position? a lot?
what is the advantage in investing now that the economy is in shambles and the dollar has depreciated?
