If Obama wins the election, do you think that the fact that he would be the first African-American president would be a cause to have a form of currency with his image printed on it? I will also to ask whether there will be any George Bush currency in the future.
How is the question racist? It's not about him being black or white, it's about the issues. But technically, he would be the first African-American president. This question was not mean't to be offensive

Your question is racist. You are stating that he should be on currency because he is black. How insulting to him. Maybe (it is extremely doubtful) but maybe he will do something great that will earn an honor, being born a certain race is no great accomplishment. Besides, on what denomination would you put it? As far as I know, we don't have any blanks–unless obama wants to 'change' that along with our flag, our anthem, our borders etc too.
EDIT: "do you think that the fact that he would be the first African-American president would be a cause to have a form of currency with his image printed on it?" That would be the racist portion, the explaination is above, but I will further clarify it. If he was to awarded an honor JUST because he was black–I think it would be insulting. If I were awarded something on the sole basis of being a woman, I would be pissed. Such an honor should have a connection to something you have done, not something you happen to be. Promoting and/or demoting people based solely on their skin color is insulting and just so bizarrely wrong

Obama? I can’t see it happening.. What are they going to do, make up a new cash denomination just for him?

i dont have a crystal ball, but IF he would get elected, i would think so, it would be historic, HOWEVER, i pray everday that he does not get elected as his ideas are full of an agenda-ridden base and he is all wrong for Americans, and America. Please THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE, DO NOT VOTE FOR HIM OUT OF HATRED FOR bUSH, VOTE.

Maybe in the far future but not any time soon

Not until a president has been dead for a long, long time. But why should his race give him that honor? I just don’t get it. He’s done absolutely nothing as either a state or U.S. senator, so why do you think he would even be a good president? I hope that we don’t get the chance to find out.

I think so, if he is president he will obviously be a Landmark president, first African American to hold office. Years from now, as long as he does good for the country, he will probably be put on some money.
Just a prediction.
