what do you mean shredded? like its all in little cut up pieces? its probably not worth anythign it its shredded.

Call a bank and see if you can exchange it for actual cash. The US treasurary will replace damaged currency if a certain percentage of it is present and identifiable.

Yes, it’s real. Sure you can. You just won’t get much for it.
