There a neighborhood currency exchange where for several years I bought money orders for orders and to bill bills and cash small checks that suddenly went out of business. I just bought a money order there just last week but yesterday when I went to purchase a money order for an item I ordered, I found that the exchange was closed with a sign in the window stating that it was out of business and to take my business to another currency exchange several blocks away. This is the second exchange that has closed I my area in the last year. There was a new one that was only in busniess for a few months but also suddenly closed suddenly without no advance warning. But the one that closed a few days ago had been in business for at least 20 years or more.
Why do currency exchanges out out of business so suddenly with no advance warning at all?
I heard that Swiss francs are pretty stable or Yen!
