€ this is what im talkin bout,i was gonna book a hotel/apartment in iceland n they used to use ISK on the booking website,which the exchange rate is less but now this€ is a lot more n i dunno wat it is!

euro, the currency introduced in 2002 and used through out mos of europe with the main exception being great Britain which still uses the british Pound

You should get out more often.
That is a symbol for Euro. It is the european currency.
Iceland is a part of the European Union and they changed their currency along with all other countries in that union, one common currency for trade purposes among themselves. It was done sometime ago.
They called it "Euro"
