You have your facts wrong-look at a transcript.
The reporter asked that as a second part of the question, and he said "no" in those exact words!

he said he was not in favor of a global currency

At the end of the statement, he said there is not a need for one. Pull the foil hat up around your ears next time.

I don't believe in a global currency, but a global currency would be quite different than a global government.
and what would be the difference if we had all currencies backed by gold, than one currency backed by gold.
I think your confusion is that you believe if somebody doesn't deny something is that they support it.

Are you kidding? Of course he wants to keep the dollar standard. The Chinese who hold the US debt in the form of treasury bills are worried and rightly so and they are the ones proposing a Global currency. Not all the
armed might and bullying of "shock and awe" is going to gain the US a no
vote on this. Chickens come home to roost: if you let your unregulated, greedy bankers crash the international system, well, it does cause some resentments on the part of all those folks who are going hungry because their corn goes to feed the ethanol tanks of those vehicles in your two car garage while their economies are bust. Looks like the US is drawing the karma card.

Well this is the thing. Our money is used as a world currency in a way.Certain things are traded in dollars like oil for instance. You need dollars to buy oil.Our money now is almost worth nothing now,but its propped up by demand for it ,because of trading. Those countries you stated see this, and want a new standard. The government is printing to much money with no value which means no stability. We as a country can never pay back China,Japan,Saudi Arabia. So when this money is due in seven yrs. we will default. Then nations don't default they print more money. Then our wonderful country will never be the same.He didn't deny it because he could nt.Its coming the world wants it and there's nothing we can do about even if we don't want it,because the world only listened to us because we had something to offer it.Now there's nothing more to give.

because He did not know HOW from the stand of OBAMA, the president of the USA. there are too many things that he should do, otherwise he shouldn't do from the stand of other nations and long-term perspectives…. for the conflicts between the American immediate interests and the righteousness under the common ethical ground….
I reckon every US president has adopted a syndrome of anti-righteousness so that they can fulfil their illed tasks imposed by the very political system and innocent voters…
