Hi, tout le monde! Anybody here have experienced what I'm doing? I'm collecting Canadian dollar and British Pounds for the past six months… I'm aware of the fluctuations of the currency. Uhmm… due to hit of financial crisis… both currency slides… down to earth…
1.) what really affects the canadian dollar value? why does it slide despite of growing oil prices? from $34 to $41 now.
2.)how about the british pound?
I know both are benchmark currencies, why those continue to slide despite of US being center and have the massive effect of the crisis. Buying of CAD and GBP are both cheap in Philippines right now (I'M HERE RIGHT NOW–Manila)
so i can buy more… i'm wishing those currencies will bounce back to normal… I know what makes London expensive is the british pound sterling overvalued in past years in almost $2
When the central bank buys/sells gold/forex, it automatically offsets/sterilizes the impact of these operations on the monetary base by compensating open market operations. Please explain.
