what are antonyms for currency?
i need help because my teacher asked me for some antonyms for currency and i can only think of one!!

The word "currency" has a number of different meanings. However, only one of those meanings has antonyms. It is this: "something in general use, acceptance or prevalence." For instance: "Love is the currency of courtship."
In that context, antonyms could be "rare," "unusual," "unique," "alien,"
"foreign," "obsolete" or "passe" (pronounced "pa-say.")
