I'm going on holiday to China soon, but I have just heard that I am not allowed to travel with more than 6000yuan. How can I take my money into China if I want to exchange it at todays rate. The value of the UK pound will drop significantly between now and when I go, so I really don't want to withdraw it from cashpoints when I get there. What can I do?
Because every website on internet publish the same exchange rates, I know how exchange rates work (supply and demand of currencies), do they agree on exchange rates? Why don't they differ? How can there always be only one value of, say, dollar compared to euro, and they never differ from a source or another?
So are Australian Shares prices like, BHP Billiton in Australian or US dollars ?
Because I found that the dividends are all paid on US dollars?
More specifically, England.
Thanks in advance.
Because i know currency is based on supply and demand of a currency or another, so the value of a currency should depend of the commercial bank from which you would like to exchange your dollars against euros for example, but when you go to websites like Yahoo finance they give you the currency, like 1£=1.10€, so do they all agree on this value?
After these transactions, the supply of money has:
a. increased by $2,100
b. increased by $3,300
c. increased by $5,400
d. decreased by $3,300
He wants to know what he should do about money since the Republic of Ireland and the rest of Ireland use different currencies. The northern part uses the pound and the southern part uses the euro. He has been told that there are debit machines over there that will just convert our currency to either the euro or pounds, but he wants to be sure. Are there debit machines over there that simply convert your money into euros or pounds or should he get it taken care of before he leaves?
Hello, I am going to HKG from Japan in just 4 days but my credit card got a scratch and is not usable to get cash in local ATMs. I will have to change cash and my options are Japanese yen and Euro. Which one is better to exchange into HK dollars at the moment? Should I exchange it in Japan before leaving or in HKG upon arrival? I guess exchanging Euros into HK dollars in Japan must be very silly, right?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the answers, but I may add, I am going next Friday, May 1st and it is a holiday, as well as Saturday and Sunday, so all the banks will be closed!!
Do you think I can exchange at ATMs or I have no other choice than the airport? Thanks!
