Hi,
I just wanted to find out if Forex brokers accept your application if you are currently unemployed?
In particular I was interested in joining FXDD.
Thanks

They won't verify employment, but they'll ask you, and they'll want to know how much you can withstand in trading losses. You can say you're self-employed, which is true if you're an individual trader.

being unemployed should not be a hindrance to trade forex. but they will be interested to know how you will fund your trading account eg..credit cards, bank account or any proof for that matter. you may check your options in this site if you will be interested in a web based trading platform that will allow you to trade in real time anywhere without the need to download any special program. all the best.

The only thing retail Forex brokers consider is whether you have cash and a pulse. As they get to set the spreads against which you trade (it's not an open market), it seems to me that they'll be eager to get your hands on their cash, which they'll assume will become theirs within a few short weeks. All reliable indicators are that the failure rate for retail Forex traders is over 90% and likely closer to 100%.
If you want to trade against a real market (not one with spreads and prices fixed by your broker), consider trying to open a real futures account that can trade on the CME/IMM. But don't expect a free lunch there, either.

Of curse, they do. I trade with Forex-Metal and this is my only source of income. I do not have a job.

Some forex brokers may want to know how you will fund your account and ask questions about employment. If you are just starting out in the forex market you may want to consider some of the brokers recommended at http://www.forexlane.com/brokers.html

Forex brokers won't care whether you are employed. No worry.
FXDD is one of the reputable forex brokers. Good luck.
