ok i recently discovered money from the 1860s in my attic and i was wondering if they were real or fake. are there any websites i could go to in order to investigate further. a number to call? places to visit? thanks for the help

see an auctioneer or go to the chamber of commerce in your area . Or a bank. Ask ask for a manager don’t leave the money with any one keep it with you no matter what they say . there might be a historical place in your town ask them.
