From page 55 in Currency Trading for Dummies, I broke down the huge formula to:
for long postion:
((x - y)bD)/365
where x = long side interest rate in decimal
y = short side interst rate in decimal
D = days
b = exchange rate in decimal
a would equal lot size.
I dont think it does really. but this again is only for rollover rates..
just wondering

I am just getting into trading forex online…what is a good online trading system with good profitiability? I’m just a beginner, I don’t know much about it but i know a little, but am trying to learn as much as possible. Right now i just want a basic good trading system that I can invest a little bit of money and try to turn that into good sums of cash. Also one that has free practice accounts.
I don’t mean I want someone’s system… I meant like and actual online company that does it. Kind of how Ameritrade is a good "system" for stocks, whats a good "system" for Forex?

I am attempting to use the following like to get csv’s with historical data:
http://ichart.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=EURUSD=X
with great results. I get the familiar CSV with the right columns. BUT, when I try: http://ichart.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=GBPUSD=X I get a 404 error, the symbol is correctly spelled and everything, it even checks out here: http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=GBPUSD=X
Same thing happens with USDJPY=X and a few other currencies. Yet USDDOP=X works as well as DOPUSD=X.
Anyone have an idea what’s going on?

Some people have been saying Turkish Lira is better and some Euro or Sterling!
We’ll be in Side, Antalya and although the official currency is Lira some people say its better to take Euro or Sterling.
What will be best for shops/ restaurants/ excursions etc? I really don’t know which currency to change it to!

Following is what I found on the net.
Excel 2002 and Excel 2003
To use Insert Function, follow these steps:
1.Select the cell that you want.
2.Click Insert Function on the Standard toolbar.
3.Under Or select a category, click User Defined.
4.In the Select a function list, click SpellNumber, and then click OK.
5.Enter the number or cell reference that you want, and then click OK.
I m using Excel 2003. But I am unable to find ‘USER DEFINED’ in the category. Please help.
Check the following to see the screenshot.
