I have a mac laptop and i cant download metatrader 4. All i want is to see previous candlestick charts and work with them (calculate pips etc). I wont do trades i just want to see.

This is very easy to do, go to FXCM and downlaod a simulated forex trading account, this will let see the Candle Stick history for any currency and let you make practice trades to get the hang of it if you are just starting. They will give you a virtual account with $50,000 to practice with, Its fun too.
The charts on the FXCM platform are nothing short of perfect.

There is a free online chart software at http://www.forexlane.com/charts.html it allows you to use multiple indicators and chart types including candlesticks.
