I’m currently in the process of selecting the right broker, and I’ve heard that ECN (or non-dealing table) brokers are the ones who will not try to sabotage your trades, as it would not be in their interest to do so.
But how easy/difficult is it to actually start out with the broker? Do you simply register on their website, or do you have to actually speak with them on the phone?
Aside from the minimum deposit, are there any other requirements? What I mean is, do you have to meet certain requirements in order to work with a broker, or is it simple to sign up with one?
It is my understanding that choosing the right broker is the second most important step in succeeding in this market, next to having an effective and proven trade strategy/plan.

I am going to be 18 in 17 days and I have a practice forex trading account that my brothers set me up with FX Express a few months ago. I have discovered that by using 1:100 leverage and setting the recommended stop-losses are too low and I think its the worst way to go about trading forex for me. I even think that setting the recommended stop-losses is too low anyway.
What I have been doing however is to set my leverage to 1:25, and my stop-losses to the value of all my trading capital, and if neccessary, more than my investment, but I don’t need to do that yet anyway, and its been working out everytime I trade forex at me gaining 10%+ everytime I place a trade. Also its always been done on my favourite currency pair; GBP/USD.
What I’d like to know is if I continue to follow my rules and keep up with my self-made forex trading strategy and style, could I become a millionaire if I keep on winning like this with real money?

Where is it cheaper to buy forex? Would you buy forex in your home country or in the destination country would you withdraw forex through credit card?
I am curious which one would be cheaper in general.

Does the possibility of reducing the complaints of secularists make you more likely support those ideas?
Wicked Witch: LOL, I just realized that you could read "USA Theists" as a typo that really meant "US Atheists" I was actually addressing theists.
