Your 1000 peso note, which is dated July 19, 1985 and has a portrait of Sor Juana de Asbaje on it, is an obsolete type that is no longer used.
In 1993, Mexico remonetized and 1000 old pesos became 1 new (current) peso. Your note has a face value of 1 peso or US$0.08. It isn’t worth much more as a collectible, unfortunately, as several million were produced.
