I used to be able to click the Buy L$ button and get as many lindens as I wanted to for free (since its a private opensim standalone server) but now whenever I attempt to Buy L$ it says:
"Cannot Buy Now"
"DNS could not resolve the host name. Please verify that you can connect to the www.secondlife.com website. If you can, but still continue to receive this error, please go to the support section and report this problem."
THIS IS AN OPENSIM STANDALONE SERVER (Hippo Viewer). I can use Opensim without an internet connection. I used to be able to Buy L$ without an internet connection. Connection is NEVER EVER required to retrieve lindens on a standalone server, or to use opensim. So, I don’t see why I can’t buy lindens.

If I have a money manager run my forex account and I have to withdraw funds to pay him his cut via bank wire or etc. Will I have to pay taxes on the full profits, or just the profits minus there cut? I am a U.S. Citizen.
