A complete newbie to forex trading, I am having difficulties figuring out where to look for information, but also what exactly to look for. Commodities? Bank quarterly results?

I read that most people that start out in FOREX do not do well. I started a practice account and looked at trends from the month chart down to the sixty minute chart buying into trends while keeping a good margin. I also read what the indicators do. I started with $3,000 and in a week I have grossed around $600. My question is, it seemed very easy and I didn’t know if this is typical or because the account is a demo the results are fixed for results.

What are the fundamentals news that make a influence in the EUR/USD pair and how it does it?
Could you give me a list of fundamentals and the way (positive/negative) each influence this pair?
I have problem, because I am a newbie, to recognize them.
Thanks a lot.

Considering getting into Forex Trading, but before diving into deep learning and research and practice accounts I wanted to find out how much you can actually lose when trading on margin.
When you trade on margin, is your margin the most you can lose or can you actually lose a large % of the trade amount and end up in debt?
For example, if I have a $250 margin and with that I control $10,000. If a trade goes really bad does the brokerage house automatically sell my position once I’m at a $250 loss to protect them/me? Or can I lose thousands of dollars and end up owing the broker money?
Thanks
