Hi there,
Will I get a better currency exchange rate if I buy £ once I arrive in UK or shall I rather exchange at the country of origin?
When I came to China for holiday I’ve found that I got better exchange rates for my £ than when in London. So I am wondering if I will get better exchange rates for Polish currency if I take it to London and then exchange, rather than exchanging it in Poland.
In case it sounds confusing, basically if I have 10000Zl and want to change it to Pound Sterling. Am I better off changing the currency once I’m in UK or should I do it beforehand?
Hope someone can help, thanks

I’m a newbie in forex trading, just downloaded a broker platform and doing demo/practice account.
There I see option called "open trade" and also called "create order". I’m confused that whether in order to open a position shall I click "open trade" or "create order" because what I learned from forex tutorials is that in order to buy or sell instantly, you should create a "market order", but in my demo practice account trade is opened by just mere clicking on "open trade", so I wonder what role plays the "create order"

Hey folks,
I am looking for a new broker for Stocks and Forex.
I have been using TD Ameritrade for stocks for a few years.
Pros: Like their platform.
Cons: They don’t do forex and their commissions are high.
Opened an account with Interactive Brokers last week.
Pros: Brokerage fees are cheap and they cover stocks and forex (and others).
Cons: I don’t like their platform or margin leverage.
Opened a “Paper” Think or Swim account last week.
Pros: Like their platform better than IB’s but not as much as TDA’s. Margin leverage perfect.
Cons: Commissions are high.
So, here’s what I require and am still in search of. Hopefully ya’ll can point me in the right direction.
I need:
A very user-friendly platform
Ability to trade stocks and forex
Low commissions
Margin of 2:1 for stocks
Margin of 100:1 for forex
Thanks in advance for any info!
Happy trading!
