because without currency we’d go back to bartering. getting rid of currency wouldn’t get rid of greed, it would just change the way greedy people get their stuff.

socialist much? money is now fiat money which is money that has value bc the govt. says it does. if we had no money there would be no "value" to do anything. if there was no money no one would do anything out of kindness, its just the way humans are. greed=survival its in our instincts

I’m not sure what you mean by "money that might be taken from a homeless man." If I were to take money from someone, I wouldn’t be stupid enough to robe a broke guy.

No money = no incentive = no medical or scientific breakthroughs

There is no way for there to be no currency. Currency is not the black and white ‘these paper bills and coins are money while that cow and chicken are food’. Money just makes it to where it is easier to trade and barter with each other. Not for the entire past of the human race has there always been the money we consider currency.
~imagine a world much less deaths, crimnals, anger, fights
For this to happen, life would have to be simple yet advance at the same time. Less deaths would mean we need the technology we have now, but less anger would mean we need less of the technoloogy we have now. For less criminals and fights people would need to have a feeling of being equal to all others and that no one has more then the other. But that is not possible due the the human nature of simply wanting more.
~break through in sceince and math in everything the possabillties are endless
Incentives is what bring any thing new in this time and age. Without it why would we do anything? Would be no use as there is no gain for ourself, and the rationalization that it is for the greater good of humanity won’t work. Humans are creatures of emotions and feelings, rationalization may have a part in actions, but those actions were the ones done due to justifying feelings.
But what if this was done at the begining before currency was even an issue? People would still have no need to advace because as the more advance you get, the more unequal people would be as resouces cannot provide for eveyone. Chain reation is that people start fighting because some are below others because of a technology that cannot be provided to eveyone. Criminals start stealing in the attempt to be more equal to hose of a higher standing, causing anger amongs individuals.
~money is greed, a sin to think of as a savior
To actually get advance, you would need to do research and get materials to do that research. You get all the items by trading. But wait, that makes people less equal because you take away from same to do it. Even if you keep all the people in an area equal, the geography of the land does not allow for equalness. Those in the dessert would need more water then those near a fresh water resource. This island does not have all the materials needed and that one has some. How will you trade between islands to get what is needed for research? Sure it is easy between two, but what about when you start getting bigger? Oh but more advance will cause a chain reation to more fights, criminals, and anger. More advance also means a person can be saved from certain death.
Overly simplified or greatly exagerated, money is simply needed because of the trade it allows. Without the common thing with money, getting what is needed for greater advances gets increasingly complex especially since without money items would be traded on guarentees which are easy to break without collateral. It is human nature to want more and more so no incentive means no more advances.
