I’m 16 years old, and i have a little over 3,000 saved up. I don’t plan on spending my money and so I’d like to put it to good use. I’ve been doing a lot of research and I came upon Merk Funds. Obviously the dollar is not doing well, and this seems like a good idea. I would probably put all of my money into it (the minimum is 2,500 anyway). Do you think this is a wise choice, or should i maybe put my money elsewhere? Thanks!
I read that Russia is buying Canadian currency because it" aims to diversify its reserves, increase gold holdings and promote regional currencies in trade and finance to reduce risks posed by the U.S. dollar’s dominance. President Dmitry Medvedev has blamed the global financial crisis on an over-reliance on the U.S. currency." What does it all mean? Does it mean Canada is doing well economically, or does it mean USA is doing poorly economically? Or both, or neither?

I tried Standard Chartered Bank, but they want an NTN (National Tax Number) to do wire transfer to a company.
dollars? euros?
My currency is based on the present value of the dollar. The only difference is from now on, it is not subject to the manipulations of the federal reserve. Anyone who comes to me with a dollar can get 1.01 Porkers. That way I can back the Porker with real value.
Why would you want to use my currency? It doesnt devalue like the dollar. It is based on actual goods, not the amount of dollars the federal reserve says there are. It cannot be manipulated, because I will lend it out based on no interest and the dollar. You may do so too.
After the dollar collapses, do you think Obama is going to replace dollars with his own currency? Replacing our founding fathers head with his own and call it "in Obama we trust"
Maybe this is why he is trying to destroy the dollar.

I am about to fly from italy to the US and was wondering where its cheapest to exchange my money. Should i change it at the airport or find a currency exchange when im in the US?
