i am going to singapore on 20 january and i am planning to go to usa in june. my friend told me that you can carry only maximum of 5000$ per annum to abroad. means that i can take only 5000$ total to usa and singapore combined? is it true? please tell

I dont think that’s completely true. You can carry more than 5000$, but you have to write that you have more than 5000$ on the declaration sheet, or else you’ll get punished for not telling that.
