Groups of indigenous people that live traditional, stone-age type lives. Surprisingly there's quite a few of them left, check out wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncontacted_peoples There are also a number of other tribes & villages that have been contacted but still have very little to do with modern society and they still don't use any type of monetary currency. There's also a few hippy communes around the place that use barter, but although they can minimize their use of money, they can't completely eliminate it if they live in a modern society.
