Socialiseme- 19th century America had the greatest increase in wealth in human history. Between the war of 1812 and the civil war, we became rich. Not coincedentally, that was a time period on a gold standard and with no central bank.

A laissez faire free market is not capitalism, it’s a pipe dream much like Communism

War’s have been started because of ideologies, lack of resources, religion, geopolitical interests, and plain out hatred at times. To blame Capitalism alone is pathetic.
PS: To top answer, Socialism is nothing but a wonderful dream that will never come true.

Who says a war needs to be paid for? GW Bush and Conservatives started 2 wars then cut taxes on the people who pay the most taxes, the wealthy, which led to the near financial ruin of the USA and a national debt which will most likely never be under control for generations.
My grandchildren will be paying for Conservatives wars and probably their grandchildren as well.
