I want to know the indian currency rate agains US $., Why yahoo finance and Indian media web sites claim dfferent currency rates for same day.For example Ind5an medias wab site says The Indian currency rate on 01- 2010 against US $ is 44.35 But sametime yahoo says wich is 45.34 whch one is actually right..? I expect your valuable response

When you see the exchange rate, please see whether they are buying rate or selling rate, since there is a lot of difference in these two rates.

Can you tell the gold rate accurately ? No. You cannot. It differs every day (also every minute). In the same way the US$ rate and INR will also fluctuate. If the currency rates are constant, then why they are traded in stock exchanges ?
Like shares and gold, currency rate also differs every minute and for every transaction.
