Does it bother fundamentalists that charles darwin’s image is printed upon the currency of the United Kingdom?

Does it bother anti-gravitists to know that Newton is on their currency as well?

Nope
I am not a Brit though
If Darwin is the best they have to adorn their money….that’s not saying much. I mean with the history Britain has…..they put beagle boy on their money?

Just because he’s famous and influential doesn’t mean he was correct.

The UK is largely a secular society. We don’t have that religious nutter element that you have in the US. That’s the reason that no-one firebombs our abortion clinics or tells the families of our dead soldiers that they have been killed by God in revenge for homosexuality.
So yes, we are very proud, and no, it doesn’t bother anyone.

that would be brilliant… the queen means nothing to us, the only reason we have a monarch is so that next time a british monarch gets a bit "full of him/herself" then we can execute him/her.
so getting her off the pound notes would be pretty good.
i wouldn’t just stop with darwin, i would use other iconic british figures like churchill, newton, alan shearer(joke), shakespeare, etc.
