I actually read that only a few actually make a profit from forex.
Google: Forex scam, complaint, or rip-off.
There are some forex companies out there that take your money, and then say you lost even if you thought you made money.
It seems like they never invest your money in the first place.
Don’t get scammed whatever you do - fear everything.

You really want to practice. Very profitable, but also risky.
Really want to make sure you know what you’re doing, and if you have the attitude.
Might want to try stock investing first and see if you can at least handle that.

Hi Jason,
Based on my experience, Forex is profitable as long you have a good money management. Try playing the Forex market by opening a demo account in FXDD.Com, FXCM.Com or Alpari.Com. Another site is FXMig.com, a company based in Europe, where you can do hedging.
A demo account will give you a virtual money, but you play the real market. This way you can learn to understand the Forex market, and see if Forex is for you.
The way I trade is very conservative, I started with $10,000 and I only trade 1 lot, and profit of 20 pips. Using only 1 lot with $10,000 capital gives me a lot of margins for the market to flactuates and it eventually gets me into profit. So far I have never loss a single trade, and every trade I make, I do not have a stop loss
I use the indicators from ultimateswingtrader.com and trade recommendation from forexgator.com. I am also a member of surefiretradingchallenge.Com, where there are many Forex trading system you can try. I also watch the news constantly, to guess the direction of the market.
Good Luck

Forex got a bad reputation because there is a lot of online investment scams sites use it to take money from innocent public(innocent people new to online investing) and run away with their money. And there is a lot of hype by online money making websites and affiliates promoting forex training and education products making you believe that you can make a lot of money overnight with there their system, robot or courses with the click of a mouse.
But, if you look at forex without hype and compare with any other investment vehicle, it is hands down one of the, if not the best, investment vehicle out there especially for small investors. I have been into all sort of investments all my life and tried everything under the sun. Now I have major potion of my investment in forex trading.
Forex trading would be enormously rewarding, if you get into it with the proper education and mindset and not look at it as a get rich quick scheme. I have been into all sort of investments all my life and tried everything under the sun. Now I have major potion of my investment in forex trading and I get the best return on investment(ROI) from forex compared to other investments.
The key to success with forex trading is getting proper education and training and starting to trade it with a mindset and discipline you would have with any other form of traditional investment. Better ROI would come naturally as a by product. Happy trading.

It can be very profitable and can make you suffer heavy losses at the same time as well. Survey says that 95% Traders loose their money in forex trading and only 5% traders take their money home. Forex is the most volatile market and maximum traders commit the mistake of predicting the price movement and loose their money.
To make Forex trading profitable, you need to learn several trading techniques which will help you make positive trade at the right point of time. There have been millionaires made through forex trading but it takes a lot of education and experience to ultimately give you the knowledge required to atleast do average while trading.
