As far as I know, if you are using Forex broker located in the US, then you should check if the broker is a member of NFA, National Futures Association. FXDD.Com, FXCM.Com and Alpari.Com are both members of NFA. There maybe others, but these are the three brokers that I am using now. Another broker based in Europe, is called MigFX.Com, based in Europe, which I heard is also very good, but their minimum deposit is $5000.00. MigFx used to be just a Forex broker, but now it is also a bank.

Just so you know I have never dealt with them before, but I am going to, because in Europe, Hedging is still allowed, while the US no longer allows you to hedge your position. Do your research on this one first, which I am still doing.

Do not go with a Forex broker, that only have a PO Box, as an address and an email and a chat box as a means to contact. Make sure they have a phone number for a contact. Contact them, to see how fast and how professionaly they respond to you..
