A lot depends on the condition of the money, and how rare it is. Take it to a coin dealer, and they will evaluate it for you.

They are worth hundreds!!! Maybe thousands!!! Still thinking about keeping them? Times are tough, go buy yourself a Mercedes.

Actually I'm just kidding I don't know how much they are worth. But I can guarantee that if they aren't made anymore, they would be a nice amount of money.

Well the lira was just made into a Euro not too long ago when Europe decided to make all the currency the same. It might not be THAT much more.
..its worth about 35 cents..

Given the fact that there are still 3000 billion lira around, your lira note will not be worth a lot any more. Certainly it is not worth more than the countervalue in Euro. You can still exchange old banknotes from Eurocountries, but sometimes it will cost you a fee higher than the value of the bill.

You might find a copy of the catalog in the first link at your local library, and a coin dealer specializing in Paper Money Foreign might be able to help. In order to value any currency we need to know the country, denomination, year, and condition of which you have only provided two. If you need further assistance please let us know.

Look at currency for sale on eBay and see if any look like what you have. Chances are good that neither is worth much, since both denominations were very small and therefore millions and millions were issued, meaning a pretty good number would have survived. It's worth researching anyway, just for the education.
