They don’t have a currency.
Their wealth is measured in terms of like how many sheep or wives they have. When they want something they trade them.
Also they’re quite self-sufficient so they do have their own farms to grow their food…
They don’t do things like buy cars and houses, or go out to restaurants… They’re just a tribal people!

they don’t have a currency the Masai in Kenya use Kenya shilling and for their day to day trade some may trade with their livestock

Their currency is highly revered in Cows or basically cattle, especially in marriage when a spouse has to pay the dowry. The Masaai are very traditional to barter trade!

they use the kenyan currency shilling.to say that they use cows is true but it is outdated,very rare.their interraction with other communities has made them more modern.

Kenya Shilling, but for in-tribe payment they use cows, goats or even camels..
