No, it is very popular and has endured so long that it would be silly. So much horror in the world we must be cautious in indulging trivialities.

  6. Probably, but there are more pressing matters, and all the Christians will throw a hissy-fit if their god’s name wasn’t the charagma on the money anymore.

  7. NOPE!!!!!!

List your top ten reasons why it should be and give cause and effect for each.

yes, it is against the ideas of separation of religion and state. Personally, however, I think there are more important things to worry about regarding religion.

  10. No. There are more important things to do.

It could be removed without much cost. Just phase it out. Paper currency does not last THAT long….

    I don’t think so.

    #1. I couldn’t care less.

#2. It’s technically not unconsitutional. It can’t be ruled illegal on the basis of the whole separation of church and state thing. The word "God" is a very, VERY broad word. It could have absolutely nothing to do with religion.

If it said "In Christianity We Trust", then there may be a bit of an issue. "God" could mean anything.

if people don’t like it move out of country or better yet don’t touch it its part of America so if some people don’t like it leave only a very small amount of people don’t like it but our gov. officials don’t have no backbone or balls to say no to them

Sure….it is not a representative view of the entire citizenry. And it’s only been there for 50-60 years.

  15. Yes, it should. I do not trust the main character in ancient myths.

Since it is the only tender that Americans can use it is the Government telling Atheists that they should trust in God. Why should an Atheist have to see this I’m a Canadian so I don’t have it on my money but I have a line in my anthem which says, "God keep our land…" and a huge % of Canadians are Atheists. Separation of church and state.

  17. Watch our country fall even farther down hill into the slumps when that happens. You think our economy is bad now???

  18. no, I am sick of everything in this world being censored. half of the time its only greedy people who see an opportunity to get some money by suing someone. We cant even have christmas, halloween parties, easter egg hunts, or anything at school anymore!

  19. I believe it should be removed, although, at times, I have felt it should be altered to read "In THIS god we trust."

    Absolutely.
Along with a whole bunch of other out-dated crap we hold onto for *someone’s* sentimental reasons.
