Lefties love screeching "America isn’t a Christian country!!!"…so why does our money/bank notes say "In God We Trust"?
if we WERENT a Christian country, as they say, then it wouldnt say this…or it would say "In Darwin We Trust"…

Spain, Italy and even England could come soon — Japan has a huge debt to gdp ratio — it seems that we have been marching there since Reagan — so how long before the world currency or the world war

We are going to Cabo at the end of the month. I want to have some pesos to use while we are there, bu am unsure where the best place to exchange is? I don’t really want to have to worry about getting to a bank while we are in Cabo so could I exchange them for a decent rate at the airport when we arrive? Or where is the best place people have found? I read not to do it at the hotel.
Thanks in advance

Do they also comprehend that life does not necessarily guarantee them a right to ownership and that the concept of ownership is something that depends upon the society in which one lives in?
Why do conservatives think that they are holding up some "honorable" objective truth when they denounce non-minarchist taxation as "theft"?
@RodJ
"Observe societies, like Greece, where entitlement is the rule. Not very pretty."
The road to social welfare doesn’t necessarily have to be a pretty one. The road to civil rights wasn’t a pretty one either. The question, however, is, was it worth it?
“Redistributing others wealth is theft.”
Again, this is subjective. You could make a moral argument that it is our duty to make sure that everyone contributes to the welfare of society as a whole. The word "theft" connotes something bad, unless you want to start referring to "good theft" and "bad theft".
“Worse, it build a society that has little incentive to be responsible and self-sufficient.
There will always be an incentive to be responsible. A welfare society merely softens the blow of hardships. I don’t know why you see that as a bad thing. It’s like you want us to be masochists and do things the hard way instead of doing them the easier and smarter way. No one is entirely self-sufficient. Not in this day.
@RodJ
…And frankly, I fail to see the value that you give to self-sufficiency. Not being self-sufficient does not mean being lazy. I don’t envision a society in which there is no incentive to better oneself. I think you have a misconception about the type of society that we want.
