Discussion of Forex Trading and Currency Trading

Is it best to switch currencies before or after you arrive?

I’m going to Spain soon, and was wondering if it’s best to switch from Dollars to Euros in the USA then go to Spain, or just wait until I’m at Spain and then switch. Also, will it make a difference, money wise ?

  1. switch currencies after if you must. its best to just use a debit card, as if it’s stolen your money isn’t gone, and your bank will be able to give you the best exchange rate at the moment.

but again if you must, do it after and try to find a local bank that will do it, those currency exchange expos or whatever at the airport are super expensive, don’t use them

Both. Buy some Euros before leaving that you may be needing at the airport or taxi fares etc. before you reach a local bank in Spain to exchange further currency.
