Those dollar coins?
I just listened to the disturbing report I found on MSN predicting the collapse of the monetary system in this country. It was the scariest thing I have heard in years. If it happens we will be hurt the most of all.
say 1.60 euros = £1
a car cost 312 euros
how much is that in pounds?
please show me how to work it out using a calculate or with paper and pencils thanks
Holy Quran forbids deals which are unduly favorable to one party at
the cost of the other, like dealing in paper currency:
26:183 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief.
A verse to this effect appears 3 times. Since paper currency does not have
an intrinsic value and its value depends upon expectation of people the seller
may suffer a loss if the value of paper currency falls.
I wonder any such instructions are given in Torah and the NT ?
Angelmusic,
Thank you for your honest reply. People in the past have done barter trade and
also used gold, silver or grains as means of exchange. All these things have intrinsic
value in that they can server some need other than means of exchange.Paper currency is
worth only the paper on which it is printed.
Please explain?
Barter systems have a common goal: do commerce without using what most people call money. A barter currency may be many things so long as it serves as an agreed upon medium of exchange.
