my husband was telling me that the american dollar is only worth 50cents.and thats part of the reason that gas is so expensave because in the world market are money isnt that great.i dont know how much i believe this…whats ur opinion/knowledge?another question is…does the u.s. still have gold and silver in the federal reserve or is there nothing to back our money?my husband said we stopped keeping gold and silver back when roosevelt was president.please help.thank u!

I have been to bank, post office, library and tried the internet but I am still not able to find what it is worth. I know it is an old bill. It is not a Silver Certificate. It is a 1934 series.

Does anybody know how I can, after pressing a command button (which in turn changes the value of a label), how I can add a "$" sign before the numbers? For example, the value inside a label is 125.00, but I wish to make it display $125.00. I have tried changing the data format to Currency, but it doesn't make a difference.

I would like to know if there's a website out there where you convert other currency amounts into US exchange…for example if I wanted to order something from overseas or canada, but wanted to know exactly how much I'd be spending before ordering.
