Many gold miners are based in Canada. It seems that their stocks are dropping even though gold is up.
This might be because the Canadian dollar is associated with the EURO.
I think the Canadian dollar should be stronger than the USD, which is stronger than the EURO.

Somebody told me that overseas travel with large amounts of cash, e.g. 7 or 8 thousand dollars, requires that the person have consecutive serial numbers. That seems a rather onerous travel requirement. Can anyone confirm if there are cases wherein a person would be required to carry cash with consecutive serial numbers?
